The Rainbow Bridge is a suspension bridge joining Odaiba to the mainland. The bridge is 798 meters long and was completed in 1993.
This bridge is 2 tiered- the upper tier carries an expressway while the lower tier holds an express train! It is an Engineering marvel. There is a walkway provided on the lower level to enjoy a stroll along the bridge. The real magic of the bridge though starts after sundown. The lines holding the bridge up are fitted with lights so when it's dark the bridge is cast in rainbow shades that make the bridge stand-out against the Tokyo skyline. This is where it gains its name from and is a treat to see after sundown.

Symbol of Tokyo The bridge has a clear sky with tour boats. in the nigh has a illuminated light. if your looking for taking a pic in Tokyo this place is the best in any where other Tokyo site
If you’re expecting a Brooklyn bridge kind of experience, walk away. The pedestrians area is right next the road with a constant flow of trucks passing quite close. It is noisy and smelly. That said, you can take amazing pictures of the skyline.
I walked over the bridge by foot (north route). While the view is indeed amazing the walk itself is quite the hassle. The walkway is not very wide and then you have the street to your left and the view on your right. Its quite uncomfortable if trucks drive by. If you're afraid of heights you should avoid going there by foot
Amazing Bridge with an amazing view. I had the pleasure of running Tokyo Rainbow Bridge with my sister. It was an amazing experience
Been there in 2010. Had a wonderful time. I still remember the mesmerizing views of that night. A wonderful place to hang out with friends.
