Sawada, Tokyo Reviews
One of the first high-end sushi meals we ever ate, and it still sets a pretty high bar.
Friendly chef and delicious sushi. Tried many upmarket sushi spots, Sawada is the best I've had !!
The best sushi I've ever had!!!!!! The second best is not even close. It is extremely difficult to get a reservation. You must go through a concierge or Japanese travel agent. There are only 6 seats at a long counter in the restaurant and Sawadasan prepares the sushi in front of you. The place is exquisitely finished. Every aspect of the experience has been considered. The attention to detail is amazing. The freshness of the products was unparalleled. Go hungry. We were served 23 separate pieces. It is pricey but well worth it.
Wow wow wow. One of the most amazing sushi experiences and one of the most satisfying dining experiences. Arrive early, don’t take out your phone during dining, and enjoy the journey.
Serious vibe and equally serious mastery skill of sushi making. It's so far the best sushi shop I have ever visited. Sawada San and his wife were the only staff there but they're capable of making great sushis. I do wish I could visit it again ASAP! It's a must-go for sushi lovers!
