The North-Western tip of Point Reyes Peninsula is known as the Tomales Point and is known for offering a picturesque hike. The trail that takes you to this point is 9.7 miles (15 kilometers) round-trip. It is located less than 2 hours away from San Francisco and is perfect for nature lovers and hikers. As you cross the rolling hills through grassy fields, the ocean views will sweep you off your feet. But keep in mind that the hills do not have any tree cover and it is necessary to carry enough water to stay hydrated.
