The Cobb+Co Museum was established in the year 1987. The museum is recognized on an international level as the National Carriage Collection. The museum is popular for its 19th-century horse-drawn vehicles. The extensive collection at the museum includes artifacts, machinery, tools, comprising saddles, and items of occupational use. The extended portion of the museum also includes artifacts related to the history of Toowoomba and Darling Downs. More than 50 horse-drawn vehicles at the museum tell the story of European settlement in Darling Downs. The Cobb and Co. coach no.100 is one of the most significant features of the museum.
