The Maer - Review

The Maer is a beautiful place that is absolutely serene and isn’t too overcrowded. The Exmouth sea air and the sand dunes along with the marvellous scenery and facilities for BBQ make it the perfect place to visit if you are planning a picnic or just want to relax and spend a few rejuvenating hours all by yourself. The space here is open and this means that your children can run around and have fun. This also means that you can bring your furry friend along and they can have an enjoyable time here. All such things make it the ideal place to visit with your entire family for a fun-filled day.

The Maer, Exmouth Reviews

  • Perfect for a day out in the Sun. It's uncommon in Exmouth to find such a large area for your dogs to use up their energy. The area is social - but not often over populated and comes with restrooms, tables and a play park. All roads are distanced from the center, so little worry is to be had when giving your dogs free roam.

  • The meet used to a golf course so make sure that you watch for the bunkers etc when walking and if u are walking your dogs watch for rabbit holes. Great play park for kids Nd a nature trail aswell

  • Great space. Bins were overflowing. Fantastic spot for a BBQ if the weather is good. Just a short walk from the sea front and local pubs. There is a public toilet here as well. Great outdoor climbing frames and slide for the kids. Great place to meet other people with kids on the right day.

  • Pretty open area back across road from Exmouth beach. Ideal for barbecues (has own fire pits and tables): small play park for youngsters and acres of grass interspersed with dandy holes. Car parking to the east end reasonably priced and of large size. Good for playing games, flying kites and much more. Cricket field and tennis courts also available. Western end of area going to be redeveloped so enjoy this open area whilst you can. p.s. - watch out for rabbit holes when running!!!

  • Nice open area just to walk around. Exmouth seafront 1 minute walk away
