Museo Storico Perugina Reviews & Ratings
Awesome place! We did a tour for 1.5hrs which covered a demonstration by a chocolatier, video, history explanation, museum tour, massive tasting and factory tour. Only 9 Euros, such an awesome value.
Had an amazing time, this is a place so well taken care of and clean. Counting the days until I am able to return to create even more memories. Thank you to all the staff for being so polite and courteous.
Very interesting museum!
You need to book tours as well as the classes, which they don’t tell over the phone you, so you turn up to be told that you can’t go in and you can’t book there, you have to go online and book it. Which if you haven’t got internet access is a problem. Tours are run in English occasionally ie not everyday. A real ‘computer says no’ type of place, perhaps as some kind of warped security system to stop English speaking tourists getting in? Shop’s expensive but the chocolates are ok.
You must have an appointment, but even then expect a delay at the front gate. The gate keeper seems to like to demonstrate her authority. Once inside everything changes to better than expected. We arrived late, but had called and the host had been understanding. There were only 6 English speakers who had all agreed to take the Italian tour, but an intern volunteered to make a special English tour. Special it is as. He did a great job, English was very good...equal to mine. Well worth the time , cost and effort
