Buddha's Vegetarian Foods, Toronto Reviews
Out of this work delicious! I will return, no doubt! It seems the owner works the front . I didn't catch his name ,but he is so kind and thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised to find out almost all of the menu, but one dish, is vegan. This made it extra special to me. As I didn't feel I was missing any flavours in the chow mein, the "chicken" balls, or the mixed veg.
We had an amazing lunch here today! The owners were very thoughtful. The food arrived in a reasonable time. The best part: all dishes were delicious. We ordered the General Tsao as well as the fried noodles with eggplant and tofu. Prices were more than reasonable. We will definitely come here again.
We were so happy to find this vegetarian place in Toronto! The satay rice noodles were simply amazing and the mixed vegetables with mock shrimp were also great. Service was very friendly and we had an interesting chat with one of the chefs before leaving. Definitely coming back next time we're in Toronto!
Service - 0/10 Food - I don't know... I found an ant in my noodles. I originally gave this place five stars because they have good food at good prices. I'm taking away three stars because I found an ant in my noodles and the owner looked at the bowl and picked it out. No apology. When paying for the meal, another member of our group said the restaurant should at least give a discount in which the owner responded with throwing shade and said it's already done.
Always the best vegetarian food since 1991... been here since 8.. worth the drive.. bit the place itself is a little shabby..but the food is what matters. 2 years since last post. Still very good. Some of the dishes changed slightly for the better. Still a 5 star
