  • Awesome location however did not get clean bedsheets. Toilet was also not clean. Breakfast was good. Room rates were acceptable. Staff was good and polite. Will visit again if rooms are available in future with cons fixed.

  • Great hostel! The bar downstairs has good food and good beer, as well as good bands during the weekend. The breakfast is excellent. The lounge area is filled with interesting books, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the kitchen is big, airy, and clean. It also includes everything you need to cook a meal as well as a "serve yourself" common shelf where people leave the stuff they don't want to carry when they leave. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, I've seen cleaning crew often, and I've never had a problem even if they were mixed. The rooms are great; the bed is comfortable and the locker for your bed is a numeric one with a combination you can choose yourself easily. The hostel had deals with a few places so you can go to Niagara falls for a day for cheap, etc. Very good hostel, highly recommend it

  • Clean hostel, staff are really nice for the most part- great social events. BUT BRING LOCKS! Put them on everything! I had a number of things stolen from my room during my stay in January, after approaching the receptionist- nothing could be done. SO annoying. I would only stay here again, if I could lock EVERYTHING up... even when you're out showering! Other guests also shared with me that they had the same issues. The Hostel would be a 5 if management would have more/bigger security lockers for guests and install some cameras around the place. If you or your belongings aren't safe at the place you're renting a bed in.... whats the point?!

  • It is ok. It is fairly standard for a HI hostel. I picked a few long strands of black hair from the sheets and pillow. There was a lot of hair around the dorm room floor and in the ensuite bathroom. I saw a guy come to the room on a daily basis, but the only thing I saw him do was take out the garbage. I never saw anyone clean the floors. The location is good downtown. The food in the cafe in the basement leaves a little something to be desired. The coffee was terrible, but thankfully Starbucks is right across the street.

  • Clean and well kept. On site bar and food. Apparently has live music but was only there for 1 night and I got there late so had no experience of that. Breakfast was good, could of done with refillable coffee/tea however.
