Queen West, Toronto Reviews
Probably one of the most well known Italian restaurants in Toronto. The quality of the food and service is top notch. The pastas are wonderful. They have a small but well curated wine list, unfortunately the price for a glass of wine is a bit much, but alas I guess $15 glasses are the norm now. Well worth a visit, make sure you book because there is always a line.
Great place! I love their pasta. Very fresh. They also serve an excellent salsa to accompany the bread. In addition, the service is excellent. Better than most pasta place.
A very busy restaurant but nevertheless an amazing one! You will be amazed by the great, authentic southern Italian food that Terroni provides! Loved the nice and fast service!
The start of our meal was awful. It was freezing and they sat us down right beside the door. Yes - there are booths literally lined up against the wall where the door is so there is a constant draft coming in everytime someone opens it. After asking several times, the hostess finally moved us up a few booths so we weren't directly beside the door. The food itself was delicious. I would just highly recommend the owner to move up the hostess area and take out those booths. It is horrendous to sit there in the winter time.
My memory may serve me incorrectly, but I remember being more impressed the first time I ate at Terroni many years ago. To be frank, I was served a small portion of what I felt to be under seasoned rigatoni and my good friend, an overly oily pasta with truffle flakes. My interpretation, it's a restaurant resting on the laurels of a good reputation, more concerned with projecting the Queen st image than actually delivering a product worthy of the asking price.
