Queen Street West describes both the western branch of Queen Street, a major east-west thoroughfare, and a series of neighbourhoods or commercial districts, situated west of Yonge Street in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Queen Street begins in the west at the intersection of King Street, The Queensway, and Roncesvalles Avenue. It extends eastward in a straight line to Yonge Street where it becomes Queen Street East; eastbound Queen TTC streetcars loop at Neville Park Boulevard near Queen Street East and Victoria Park Avenue in The Beaches neighbourhood. Queen Street was the cartographical baseline for the original east-west avenues of Toronto's grid pattern of major streets. The western end of Queen (sometimes simply referred to as "Queen West") is now best known as a centre for Canadian broadcasting, music, fashion, performance, and the visual arts. Over the past twenty-five years, Queen West has become an international arts centre, and a major tourist attraction in Toronto.

  • Good pizza and nice atmosphere. The service was very nice and not intrusive. I like it when you feel you are not being pushed to order and to leave. Many items to try. Hope to go there again soon. Easily four stars.

  • Terroni has been around for a while. I think they are getting too comfy. I hate the feeling of a restaurant where the menu items are being engineered for profit: 4 frozen shrimps battered, fried and thrown on a plate for $15? A pizza that has no toppings on half of it? A wine list with a 4x mark up? C’mom, and the service has just some attitude... if you get lucky. I have never written a bad review before but this one is well deserved. As I paid the bill for myself and 6 guests at over $200 a head I noticed they charged an extra $30 because someone in our party brought a cake they baked as a birthday present to the guy we were celebrating (I think that’s what forced me to write this review).

  • This will always be one of my favourite places in the city. It's homey and comfortable even when crowded.. which it usually is.. the food is always great and the fresh pasta is always an dente and delicious. I love the beef carpaccio and the wine is good and there is a good variety at a variety of prices. I also love that it is still a "family place" with the owners' children's art as prominent decorations...

  • Mouth watering thin crust Affitisciuta 🍕and 😋😋😋out of this world cannoli at Terroni on Queen street. Water 💦 came in a nice glass bottle. Great atmosphere. Friendly and personable server. The restaurant is on 2 levels, but level 1 is wheelchair accessible. Didn't use the washroom and can't comment on its cleanliness. Parking can be a pain to find on Queen Street and it costs $2.25 per hour. 😡😡Beware!!! There are no free refills on coffee. Was charged charged $6.50 plus tax plus tip for 2 tiny cups of regular coffee 😡😡

  • Terrific classic Italian dishes and drinks. Fresh pasta and rich sauces like the bolognese are to die for, but quality ingredients and perfect portions prevent them from weighing you down. The contemporary decor--think teal seats at the bar--with classic touches create an inviting environment. Start with cocktail.
