Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel, Toronto Reviews
I would say that the pros on this place are location. Amazing place to catch a ball game. The cons are that there are A TON of people that go through here. I did have a small issue and they ended up changing my room, but, My room Was like 85 degrees in July when I checked in. I asked for the engineer to fix it - twice. Finally after 2 hrs, I asked to be moved. They were super nice and moved me and my new room was cool, but, I sure wish that they would ve just made sure that they ac worked before putting me in my room in the first place....it was crazy hot in there 😁 Oh well, not a bad location....definitely a nice one!
The room was comfortable and modern. The emplacement is superb. I stayed there 4 nights, and I can imagine that this hotel is an absolute must for baseball fans - you can see inside the Park from the lobby and some rooms have a view. Great place for business people. Many attractions and restos are close-by.
We rented a suit that looked out on to the Rogers field for a Blue Jays game and it was such a beautiful room. 2 floors, windows opened to watch the game. At night there were black out curtains so the lights didn't shine in, and the cleaning crew didn't make much noise. Lots going on in the lobby, a nice restaurant and a Starbucks. Security was high, lots of people. Great time.
This hotel was so nice! Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I highly recommend going for the stadium view over the city of given the option. I will definitely come back to stay here.
The first time we got there we had a first floor room with a terrible view of the city,we were upset because they were doing renovations without telling us ahead so we could be aware. With all this going on after a quick talk to the concierge they could fix our room and gave us a suite with a living room and a great view of the city. We went at a time with no games so it was cheaper and had less people. The location is fantastic right by the cable cars that help you go around the city if you get coins or a card (depending on how long you stay) it helps you get around to Kingston square and other amazing places. Right next to the CN tower and close to beaver tails and the lake, so a great place to go to if you plan to stay in Toronto.
