If you’re a beer drinker and you’re in Canada long enough you’re guaranteed to eventually hear about this brewery. They make one beer, and one beer only: a GMO-free traditionally brewed premium Pilsner that they serve in bright green bottles. And Toronto cannot get enough of it. Which means that even if you forego the brewery tour, your trip to this city will remain incomplete without at least a 6-pack sample of their delicious drink.

And don’t forget to ask them which food item from their menu is best paired with the beer. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Toronto Itinerary 7 Days.

  • Steam Whistle believes in doing one thing really, really well. Truth is, they not only brew a great beer, but they also do a great brewery tour. Some may scoff at the $18 cost, but when you leave with a 6 pick of great beer, in addition to the ones you can enjoy while on the tour - you realize it’s a great deal. Full props to Tanner, our tour guide. He was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. Located near the foot of the CN Tower, it’s a perfect spot to to visit before the game.

  • Amazing spot. Cool and relaxed spot in the downtown area. A must visit for visitors. Beau took good care of us. Thanks bud 👍🏻 pretzel happy hour is amazing. That mustard is hot!

  • The staff are amazing, knowledgable and funny. They go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. The atmosphere is welcoming and truly makes you feel like you're part of the brewery. The tours are fantastic, I've been about 5 times and can't get enough. Most recently I had a great tour from Beau. He really went the extra mile to ensure everyone had a great time despite having a large tour group. Every tour is unique and I'm constantly learning new information and fun facts. The beer is refreshing and crisp, and they have great food options like pretzels to keep you full and happy. The brewery itself is beautiful and well maintained. Every time I have out of town visitors I bring them here and everyone always loves it. Can't recommend enough!

  • One beer available, and it is delicious. Light, full bodied beer. Staff is very friendly and will even let you keep some pint glasses. They also offer small food bites to eat. They have a free brewery tour and you get to taste the beer after. Family friendly spot with lots of trains to explore. Check it out. Well worth it

  • Went here years ago! Still a very memorable trip. Sad all my trips through Toronto have been so tight for time! Definitely would go back again soon! Lots of great history and facility to see!
