Sunset Grill, Toronto Reviews - Write a Review
Solid on all levels -- selection, service and portions. We beat the rush one Saturday morning, so people waiting outside on a blustery day is a pretty good indicator of what's inside. Wide selection, attentive servers with a ever-present pot of coffee, decent prices. Only went for breakfast and they have that down.
Made it to the 5 dollar breakfast (before 11am) which includes 3 eggs , home fries and toast and it was delicious. Staff is friendly. No complaints.
Server took 20 minutes to just take a simple coffee order. The food was not good at all especially the home fries which a ton of ketchup was added to make them palatable. The scrambled eggs had no taste at all which I am not sure how that is possible. Cleanliness is questionable and a strand of curly hair was found in the food. Would not recommend this place anyone.
This place is fantastic! Using eggs as the basis for their menu (which is clever and healthy), Sunset Grill serves up an exceptional all day breakfast that really does tick all the boxes! The food here is delicious and fresh, and there is no way you'll leave hungry! The staff here are all very friendly, and seeing them chat and joke with each other really shows that they enjoy their job too! Its very reasonably priced too, so you'll get a big breakfast to keep you going well into late afternoon, without breaking the bank. This place is definitely worth a visit! It won't disappoint!
Good service, but the food is as bland as it gets. The potatoes are just cooked with no seasoning; they might as well be hospital inspired flavors. The eggs were also just cooked with nothing special about then. Sausages were a huge contrast and were just salty. The dark rye was very good though. Overall, will not go back, the food was made with no attention to flavor.
