Yonge Sushi, Toronto Reviews
I went with my boyfriend on a Monday. It wasn’t that busy. The place is cozy. The server was really helpful. We got all you can eat lunch for $15.99+tax. I don’t recommend to get the beef or chicken udon soup.
I’m new to the neighborhood and catered a housewarming party here... very glad I did! Food wasfresh, service was fast, price is right! I be back for the all-you-can-eat option and more takeout! I’m glad to have this place so local.
The food at this place is delicious, but the rude attitude of the server brings all that delicious foods rating so low , that you wish to invest that money in a place that gives you both yum food and good attitude and moreover doesn't make you feel like an inanimate object. The people and servers are rude and expect to be tipped despite of their atrocious rudeness and also throw a ruckus when you refuse to honour their demands of tipping them!!!!!!Expect slamming of plates and glasses ,rolling of eyes ,harsh tone ,counter questions all topped with lots and lots of bad attitude. Spare yourself this mistreatment. Go here to disrupt your piece of mind!
It is always difficult to find a good quality all you can eat sushi but I think this is the best one we've found. The staff is friendly and it is always nicely packed so you know that it must be pretty decent! The sushi rolls are good because the ratio between the rice and fish are on point. Not too much rice and a good amount of meat. Would recommend this for your next all you can eat sushi experience!
I went to the washroom and on the way up the stairs I hit my head because the ceiling was so low. This made me angry. First came the salmon/avocado rolls and the salmon looked like mush, it looks like tiny bits of cut off salmon instead of one nice piece. Tasted mushy and very fishy. They used small cutoff pieces from when they cut salmon sashimi which were too small to use for anything and stuffed the tiny shreds into my rolls instead of throwing them away! Gross! Then had mango and avocado and crab rolls and I bit into the mango and it was still frozen solid and it hurt my teeth. All the sashimi types are room temperature, dry, and taste very fishy. The onion wrapped in beef is dry And flavourless Now I realize that they sent me 10 sushi avocado rolls when I only ordered 3 and they forgot to send me the hand rolls but I’m too tired and full to bother complaining, I just will never come back here again. The dessert selection is limited to 4 ice cream flavours: green tea, mango, red bean and vanilla I’m never coming back here Waitress is rude as well, but she has a nice ass
