Platja d'es Codolar is one of the most popular beaches in Tossa De Mar as it is located a stone’s throw away from the center of the city. Surrounded by stone cliffs, it also offers dramatic views of the castle walls making it perfect for photo opportunities. The clear water is perfect if you want to take a dip. There are some cafes and bars nearby if you want to enjoy a refreshing beverage. Keep in mind that as it is a tiny beach, it gets crowded during weekends. So, try to plan your visit accordingly.
Platja D'es Codolar Reviews & Ratings
A small sandy beach set in a rocky bay at the foot of the castle. The setting is great and the views are impressive. The clear sea shelves quickly and soon becomes deep with plenty of rocks, which makes it an ideal snorkeling spot. It is shallow enough at the edge, though, to be suitable for kids or weaker swimmers. There's also a handy beach bar that sells drinks and snacks.
Very nice and small beach, sheltered from two sides with clifs. Beach isn't sandy but it has very small rocks, water is very clear, although is was a bit cold in time of our visit (beginning of June). If you are in Toss de Mar, you should definitely consider it. There is also a bar, but it isn't anything special. Umbrella was 6€ (FYI).
Its and odd little beach. Its spectacular but there is a strong sewage smell as you ascend or descend the stairs. We went in the late afternoon.
Great little beach, got a little crowded later on the day, but it still was truly magnificent.
This is a lovely little town and I highly recommend going on the glass bottom boat trip
