It took a long time to build this Roman Catholic Monument, from the 11th century to the 18th century. There used to be a Cathedral here in the fifth century, but nothing remains of it now. Over the centuries, the cathedral acquired several additions, such as:

• Chapel of Saint Joseph
• Classical facade
• The clock tower, with an iron campanile
• The eighteenth century Baroque retable
• The Corpus Christi Chapel
• Two Pierre Puget painting

It isn’t the most impressive of cathedrals, but there is a quiet dignity in the interior.
