In 1850, when the city with expanding, it really seriously considered the need for a green space. Thus, the Garden was born, and named in honour of King Alexander of Yugoslavia. Here you can find:

• A band stand
• Two children’s playgrounds
• A fish pond
• The door of the Church of Our Lady of Courtine in Six-Fours
• A statue of the sculptor Pierre Puget
• A carved bust of the poet Jean Aicard
• A war memorial

The trees in the garden or not native tp this place, but collected from many exotic sources. It is an excellent place to stroll and relax. Close by is the Toulon museum of art.
