The Jardin du Grand Rond was established during the 18th century when the city was going through changes to beautify its grounds. Today, the park is loved for its quaint walkways, beautiful elements like sculptures, a gazebo, an elegant fountain and flowers and trees that embellish the area.

The small pond, bridges and shaded benches along with the surrounding buildings- all make the visit charming. Take a walk here during a sunny afternoon when in the city.

  • A park on a roundabout. Mind you it's a big roundabout. Surprisingly peaceful and there's a lovely fountain in the centre with surrounding gardens. Beware somewhat terrifying dogs, teeth bared and snarling as their pups cling to them for milk can be seen, though not to worry they're cast in bronze and are unlikely to bite.

  • When I went it was a tiny day and it looked nice. I imagine in the summer it must be real pretty to just sit outside and watch the kids run around

  • Nice park flowers were lovely & the gazebo for being able to have a seat in .

  • Clean and tidy well maintained park.

  • This is my wife and my favorite park in Toulouse. The city regularly changes the gardens around the fountain, so it is always good to see. Depending on what time you go, the sunlight reflects off the pools of water in different shades of light. I recommend going about an hour before sunset to see the vibrant pink reflections in the mist from the fountain.
