Spread across 7 acres, the Jardin des Plantes is a green haven in the middle of Toulouse. The park was built during the French Revolution and has seen 200 years of the city’s history. Today, it forms a lush-green experience for nature lovers and is apt for a small picnic during summers or for a lazy walk in the afternoons. The garden has over 100 species of trees in its green pastures and is embellished by fountains, sculptures and elegant pathways.

  • It is a calm and relaxing place to go with friends or family. If you are looking for a weekend program, you can just go for a walk in the park and sitting on the grass. Otherwise, if you're a tourist, you might want to go to the museum, which offers a great experience. For me, the museum was a little expensive if we compare it to other museums in France (7€ euros for adults and 5€ for children/students or entering at 16:30 ; 2€ more to visit both exhibitions, the temporary and the permanent one).

  • A great place for holiday with family and friends.

  • Big garden, you can take a nice walk in shades or go there to read a book. It’s very relaxing place. Also usually has some music bands

  • Perfect location to escape the city and get back to nature.

  • tres bien! wonderful view :-)))
