Originally a slaughter house built in the 19th century, today the les Abattoirs is a modern and contemporary art museum. The museum was established in 2000 and is loved for its trending exhibition that exudes the art pulse of the city.
The architecture of the place is quiet stunning. The adjoining garden has a collection of 16 sculptress that add to the museum’s beautiful collection. The entrance greets you with a fantastic piece of art by artist Fernand Leger whose gorgeous mosaic art is seen all around the building.

- Late opening every Thursday until 8.00 pm (except during school holidays).
- Last admission is half an hour before closing.
