2.5 million items worth of natural history; if that isn’t enough of any appetite, then nothing will ever be. The permanent collections: Earth, The Tree of Life, The Staircase, The Human Needs and Tomorrow display the origin of the universe, the birth of the solar system, the emergence and evolution of life in accompaniment to the changes of the Earth, the nature of man’s interaction with all of this, and man’s possible impact on the future. All this is shown through many excavated artefacts from prehistory, collection of preserved life like insects and birds (even a collection of eggs), an exhibit of skulls and skeletons and even a mineral centred geological exhibit.
Accompanying this showroom of historical wonder it the Botanical Garden. It’s various sections (medical, industrial and edible) cover over 5000 species of plants from around the world. Visitors tend to take particular interest in the toxic plant exhibition.
Finally, the museum offers a library into which admission is free. The books and multimedia documents of the library further elaborate on the displays.

It's free on first Sunday of every month! Good place to hangout. Takes around 3 hours to complete the trip.
Loved this place. Really impressive archives and displays. Struggled a bit with tour app but the kids were taken with the quality and sheer number of exhibits.
Really worth a visit. Not expensive
Great for children. Lots of things to see and interact with. The best option for a rainy Sunday
This museum holds a beautiful collection of stuffed and otherwise preserved creatures. The boards of shells and insects are stunning. I've been twice and don't seem to find time for the later parts of the museum. It's modern and interactive. I couldn't get the app/website with English language location based stuff to work for my son, 11, who does not read french but he still had a great time.
