Chrisholm Metropark Farmstead Reviews & Ratings

  • Our family loves this place. It is our favorite, family oriented, park! Our 3 year old daughter calls it the "Chicken Park" because we love visiting the chickens and bunnies. We highly recommend this for any family with kiddos!

  • This is an extraordinary place to come, giving local people, as well as out-of- town visitors, a glimpse of our area's rich past. The historic farmstead and grounds have been beautifully restored, maintaining their original character, but adding a few modern touches for convenience. No matter what the occasion, it's always special to come here.

  • Reserved the shelter for a birthday party of about 40 people.. it was comfortable and we had plenty of room. Really nice peaceful park. There's a playground ~100ft from the shelter for the kids. The bathrooms are beyond this point, they are composting toilets which are not awesome with kids. Overall really enjoyed the park, it's a favorite. Just wish they didnt make you reserve the shelter for the whole day.

  • Small quiet historic homestead. They offer fun educational programs for children.

  • We took our kids here for the show and tell on the farm. We have been a few times now and absolutely love it. The staff is very knowledgeable, both about the activities and the history of the farm. They are also very warm and welcoming. The animals and grounds are well kept and there is a nice wooden playground, perfect for sparking imaginative play.
