A landmark in the Black Forest region of Germany, Triberg Falls is one of the highest waterfalls in the country. The Gutach river plunges 163 metres over seven major steps into a deep valley. A basin that is wide enough to accommodate a small-town gets formed at the bottom of the falls. This is a popular tourist attraction, drawing a large number of both domestic and foreign tourists. There are a few hiking paths along the way up. Plus, there are many shops and eateries around, offering fantastic food and drinks.
