This is a famous opera house that is named after the composer Giuseppe Verdi. This name was given to it after a series of controversial name changes took place in this opera. In the last few decades, a very prominent feature of this place is the ‘International Festival of Operetta’ which is organized here every summer and takes its roots from the city’s former Austrian occupation in the 19th century.
