Dating back to the 13th century, the cathedral is the most distinguishable and remarkable monument in the city of Trogir. It is a Roman Catholic church built as a replacement for an early Christian church, destroyed in the 12th century. It was one of the most notable works of the Croatian artist Master Radovan. The church is divided into two: upper and lower. The upper part is decorated with scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. There are also paintings which represent Adam and Eve. Stunning images of magical creatures like mermaids and centaurs can also be seen here. If you are an art lover, this church is sure to delight you.

Cathedral Of Saint Lawrence Reviews & Ratings
Nice church... is located in the main part of Trogir. The architecture is baroque with influence of the Venetian style. Highly advised to reach the top of the bell tower the views are amazing Please wear some flat shoes....
Views from the tower. Excellent value for money. Interesting baptistry and treasury, which housed reliquary. Incredibly ornate Chapel and tomb with detailed stone carvings and sculptures including many cherubs. The trip up to tower was included in the cost of entry. Brilliant.
Absolutely worth a visit if you're in Trogir. Can't remember the exact price, but somewhere in the region of 5-10£. The view from the top is stunning, but does require a vertigo inducing climb up the stairs and a ladder at the top. If you're scared of heights this can be quite daunting, so be wary if you're scared of heights. The rest of the cathedral is equally beautiful, the artefacts and furnishings are astonishing and worth visiting on their own. Make sure you bring a camera of some sort, so you don't miss out on the spectacular view.
Beautiful church. There is a small fee of 25 kunas per person to enter, but that also includes entry up the bell tower. The stairs are steep and cramped and require some patience, as they do not accommodate people going up and coming down at the same time, so make sure to leave at least half an hour for the bell tower if you go during high tourist season.
Huge feeling in the old town. Good music, good place. I recommend it to visit.
