This is a beautiful place just about an hour from Tromso in what is known as the Kvolaya Island or the Whale Island simply. The place is mainly famous for the beach that is more crowded during the summers. There is also a very small village with a maximum of 20 houses living there. It is a very remote area and that’s why it is still charming.
The main activities you can enjoy here are hiking, boating and fishing. The best part is that the fish you catch will be served to you only. During the winter you cannot touch the waters as it is completely ice but even when the temperatures are not really high during the summers, you can at least know that there is water. Summer is a great time for cycling.
