Lyngsfjord Adventure, Tromso Reviews

  • A great day out. Dog sledding was fantastic. The dogs love attention. Ice fishing was different and the guide was great. We went snow mobiling at night which was a waste of time for us as you don't see much in the dark. Soup was warm and welcome.

  • We went snowmobiling and had a fantastic time! The guides were very informative and patient. The sights were phenomenal and the fish soup was extremely tasty. I would highly recommend using this tour company as they were well organised and friendly.

  • I didn't like at all the way they keep the dogs. The dogs are very skinny and scared. Outside is -15° during the day and the temperature can reach -30° during the night and they keep them outside sleeping all night with very short chains. The water they can drink is mainly frozen. I know someone will say that they are made for this but I strongly disagree in keeping them attached with 1 metres chain to a wood cube without any blanket in it and any possibility to interact each others like prisoners. They were all inside their own small cube trying to keep themself warm. A very sad scene. Please threat better the animals that they make you made money.

  • Had great fun on the snowmobiles definitely recommended. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really good. If booking a snowmobile tour I would recommend having a snowmobile each as you get all of the tour driving which is much more fun. The tour itself was amazing and lasted a decent amount of time around 2 hours which felt just right although I could of kept going all day as it was so much fun!

  • A very disappointing experience. My holiday was ruined because the staff are only interested in commerce and care less that tourists have come all over the world to have a HOLIDAY! It is run like a military camp. After more than an hour ride to the camp, all I feel is to be rush around....the guides are not helpful. All they are interested is to get the ride over asap so that they can guide the next batch of tourists. A very different experience I had in Finland and Sweden. It is a shame...a beautiful place but the guides are not passionate at all! Not a place to go to if you want a memorable holiday.
