Lyngsfjord Adventure, Tromso Reviews
Had great fun on the snowmobiles definitely recommended. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really good. If booking a snowmobile tour I would recommend having a snowmobile each as you get all of the tour driving which is much more fun. The tour itself was amazing and lasted a decent amount of time around 2 hours which felt just right although I could of kept going all day as it was so much fun!
A very disappointing experience. My holiday was ruined because the staff are only interested in commerce and care less that tourists have come all over the world to have a HOLIDAY! It is run like a military camp. After more than an hour ride to the camp, all I feel is to be rush around....the guides are not helpful. All they are interested is to get the ride over asap so that they can guide the next batch of tourists. A very different experience I had in Finland and Sweden. It is a shame...a beautiful place but the guides are not passionate at all! Not a place to go to if you want a memorable holiday.
We paid for a 30km snowmobile safari but on arrival we were told they were double booked and we would have to wait two and a half hours until we could have our trip which when it finally came, lasted less than 90 minutes and covered only a third of the promised distance. No bonfire and meal at the halfway point as advertised (probably because we got nowhere near the halfway point). When we finally got kitted up and taken to the snowmobiles they realised that we hadn't been given waivers to sign so we all had to troop back to the office to sign. The safari itself had good views but the trail was had 'tram lines' from all the previous trips and the snowmobile skies just followed the tracks and would probably have followed the track with no input from the rider we also followed the same track out and back, I assumed from the description that it would be a circle trail. Barely got over walking speed. This was a real disappointment. Would not recommend.
I did dog sledding and could get clou to be a musher with amazing dogs and in a stunningly beautiful mountain winter wonderland - unforgettable experience 🤗 I can highly recommend this place with very friendly people working here.
The guides were really stressed because the time slot for the whole way ist quite short. And so the guides drove really fast in the end, it was hard for beginners to keep up with them. Some people flipped over their snowmobile for about five times, but the guides didn‘t slow down. Even when we arrived they wanted us to hurry up with eating. Over all the time the guides became more and more impatient and unfriendly. They damaged the nice experience with their behavior. It was a pitty!
