Southwick Country Park - Review
A 100 acre stretch of green pastures, this park is located on the edge of Trowbridge. It was built in 1989 by the Wiltshire Council. There are many small fields within the park and each offers a different atmosphere. These fields are linked by small paths and are interconnected. There is a wide range of plants and shrubs that can be found here. It is the perfect place for people who love nature as the vegetation is home to varied wildlife. A small café provides nourishments to visitors. This is a must-visit for families with kids as there are goats, cows, alpacas, horses and poultry here.

Southwick Country Park, Trowbridge Reviews
A great place for the family and couples who want to spend a day out. The animals are well looked after and friendly and the staff are really helpful and polite. As well as this a small number of the staff are adults with learning difficulties who work there and are given access to real world skills, something invaluable to them and also if great benefit to the visitors. I can highly recommend this place from a family perspective and whenever I take my girls there we have a great day out.
This place was amazing. We were at a loose end and needed something cheap and exciting for the kids this half term. We brought a family ticket between me and a friend and it worked out £4-£5 per family. We spend the day as there is soooooooo much to do. The children loved having a picnic, running around. And especially feeding the animals. So much to do and a lovely family day out :-) You can also save money by taking g your own picnic and lots of drinks.
Excellent free space. Lovely accessible path round a large area giving great access to countryside and open space. Nice cafe at one end and animal park(payment needed for that)
Beautiful country park, masses of open space for dogs to run free - please follow etiquette and lead your dog if another dog on a lead nearby - plenty of streams and ponds for both dogs and kids to explore, next to Hope Nature. Clear up after your dog!!! Lots of wildlife from voles and squirrels to owls and foxes.
Love this place, great for walks with family. Great for walking dogs. Beautiful areas, amazing trees and bushes. Also has Squirrels café to stop and have a drink. Plenty of parking. Fun runs done at weekends.
