The Chua Van Phuoc or the Van Phuoc Pagoda is built amid the marshland and wild plantation is a notable Buddhist worship house formed in 2000 in the quaint hamlet of Binh Phien. You will enter through the three magnificent gates decorated with gilded dragon. The statue of Bodhisatwa Avalokiteswara and Buddha sitting beneath the Bodhi tree are highlight of Chua Van Phuoc. The pagoda complex comprises of the main hall, living room, work room and the medicine room. The 99 ton Maitreya Buddha with the height of 12.45 metres will surely catch your attention. The lily pond in the centre of the complex and the landscaped garden is also beautiful.

The pagoda is being expanded, located beside a large river. Nothing special now but may be good in near future. Tourists are also sparse here.
This is the biggest Pagoda in the South-West of Vietnam.
