The Pima County Courthouse is a working judiciary court in Tucson and was designed in 1928 by Roy Place.

The courthouse is a fine example of Spanish-Colonial style and the pink building is rather iconic in Tucson. Take a casual walk along its corridors and walk through its front gardens to see a part of Tucson’s history. The place makes for some rather beautiful pictures and if you love architecture, a visit here is a no-brainer.

  • This is the first one star review I have given any product, business, or entity! I filed a small claims and when it came time to show up in court the Judge was incompetent and misread the papers that were filed. The judge claimed that the paperwork only had one defendant when in fact there were two defendants and it was clear on the paperwork. The judge did not admit his mistake and I was forced to refile. Without acknowledging his error the judge also dismissed the case later on. The court validated that the judge was wrong and they said they would refile the case for free and assured me that another judge would hear it. If the judge misread my paperwork the first time what would keep him from misreading a second time. He was old and clearly no longer competent to be sitting on a bench. Once a judge loses the ability to read standard boiler plate court documents they should be taken off the bench, but apparently Pima County has no such mechanism in place. I live out of state so I don't have the opportunity to travel back. The corrupt and incompetent prevailed this TIME!

  • The water from the fountain tastes like it came out of a sewer! I don't think they've ever change the filters on the water fountain! GROSS! And secondly it seems like half of the employees don't know what they're doing!

  • Can't reach anyone who can provide relevant information. Suggest to vote all incumbents out

  • It was suggested that I try filing an order of protection through the Justice Court after the City Court turned me away because I was “too late”. Luckily the justice court is located right around the corner, so I ran. First thing you’ll notice is the justice court building is beautiful, clean, and modern. Even more surprising, there was no wait to be seen. I was able to fill out a petition, testify before a judge, and receive copies of the restraining order in under 20 minutes. I was most impressed by the customer service. The woman at window 21 actually took the time to walk with me to the courtroom and back downstairs to ensure everything went smoothly. She was literally with me every step of the way. Compared to the way I was treated at city court, this place was a sanctuary. Ten thumbs up 👍🏻!

  • As far as im concerned, everyone has their job to do and its a process to weave your way thru the system solet everyone earn their money ,in other words be patient, its those that have a small amnt.of power that end up bucking the system and make days more miserable than should be ,ie. The rude women at window 18plz go to lunch and take care of your power struggle within your self your not the boss of me ,so dont act this way, so in retrospect calm oneself and let all do their jobs incl.security, they make the same money you do and have no more power over upu than you urself has over you.remember you affiliated your self w/ the court not the other way around, just be kind smile and handle your biz w taking responsibility and a smile, were all good people just show it more, remember a smile breeds a smile so brush that grill, and curve it upward.
