Sentinel Peak Reviews & Ratings
A short trip west of downtown Tucson (follow Congress under the highway) and easily accessible from Highway 10 if driving by, Sentinel Peak Park is home to the Arizona A. In a relatively quick but spectacular ascent, you can reach near the top. Pull off parking makes taking in the views easy -- perfect for photos. A parking lot nearer the top will put you close to a couple of short trails if you want to ascend higher by foot. There are informational signs about the park's history and shaded venues to sit under and take in the views of Tucson from all sides. Access is free. Public areas are a bit trashy and need some attention.
Gorgeous view from the top! Pack a lunch and spend the day, you won't regret it.
Awesome view of an awesome city! Close to downtown. Great place to see the sunset!
