Cenote Ik-kil, Tulum Reviews
Best part of my trip! Great facility there: they have change rooms, restrooms, free parking for visitors, locker and life vest for rent (a little more than 1 USD). The water is super clean and have some little harmless fishes in it. If you like nature, you can't find a better place to huge it!
One of the more popular cenotes, it's more crowded with vibrant activity. Reasonable entrance fee (80 pesos when I visited). There are lifeguards, a nice 20 ft high area to jump from, and beautiful scenery
This would be a really awesome place if they left it looking natural but it looked so man made since they built it as a tourist trap. I was highly disappointed, we were first ones to arrive thought I would have couple of hours to enjoy but stayed for 10 minutes and left. Do not expect an authentic experience in the wilderness as the picture perceives it. Gift shops, cafes, and restaurants are all nearby. The cenote itself is gated off on top making it look even more man made. Thank goodness it was next to Chichen Itza.
Amazing place, you can feel the nature, it its like a sacred spot :)
Cenote Ik Kil Estanque natural de agua dulce abastecido por un río subterraneo que se form a en numerosos lugares de la peninsula de Yucatán. I dived here 4 times hahaha. It was nice! Must item is swimming wear and flip flops, that’s it. Cómodo y divertido! Enjoy yourself! Ditto.
