Zoo Le Belvedere A Tunis Reviews & Ratings

  • The zoo has a surprisingly large variety of animals. The big cats are just amazing. It was worth the visit.

  • The animals are kept in horrible conditions. The cages were very small and over packed, some of the confinements were so dirty they emitted a very bad smell. Service was surprisingly good and cheap. But 2 stars because of the animal cruelty.

  • It is simple and beautiful

  • Not the worst zoo I've ever seen but definitely makes those who are against zoos seem a lot more believable and sensible. Many animals appear malnourished and enclosures are too small for most. If seeing animals in captivity bothers you, don't go. I left thoroughly depressed and a strong anti-zoo supporter now. One thing that really irked me. People throwing things at the animals. Clearly, the barriers and fencimg are to protect the animals. Not the visitors.

  • Nice zoo but I must say some of the animals are not kept well alot of insect going around them.
