  • Beautiful cathedral with a warmth look. During my visit I experienced a free performance which was very calming and harmonic. Their coffee shop located outside of the church doesn't take cards, so I'd recommend bringing cash incase you want to try it out.

  • This church is unbelievable. The architecture is breathtaking and the church has beautiful artwork. This was a top 5 favorite stop of our entire trip.

  • Put a pin on your map when visiting Turku if you are in love with arhitecture and history. Former Catholic Cathedral today Evangelical Lutheran Church, Turku Cathedral is one of the major records of Finnish architectural history. Most of its interior dates from the restoration carried out in the 1830s, following the Great Fire (see pictures). Today, the Turku Cathedral is house for Bishops, Quuen (Karin M√•nsdotter Queen of Sweden), Princess (Sigrid of Sweden), soldiers, army officers and many others.

  • A peaceful place, surrounded by green parkland, the Cathedral of Turku has been the main church of Finland during both the Catholic era and the Protestant period after the Reformation. It was consecrated as a cathedral in 1300 and took its final shape in the 14th and 15th centuries.

  • Nice but not too extraordinary
