The Long Point Lighthouse is one of the top tourist attractions in Twillingate. This active Canadian lighthouse located 7 kilometres outside Twillingate, off the northeast coast of Newfoundland. The construction of this lighthouse completed in 1876 and even today has been actively in service even today. Tourists coming to Twillingate make sure they visit this lighthouse and enjoy the stunning views it offers. Samuel Roberts (1875–1893), R.S. Roberts (1897–1912), Allan Roberts (1969–1984) and Jack May (1988 – 2004) were some of the keepers of this lighthouse.
