Very nice hotel with ancient looks. It is situated on the Bank of pichhola lake. It have excellent look on Lake Side. Mostly foreigners are visiting this place. Indian people are also there. It is constructed on one part of city palace. ( alterations done to convert city palace in to hotel.)
Large rooms, beautiful architecture, great views on the lake, but some features were a bit dated, we had several issues with our reservation, and there were a few too many "nickle and dime" charges on top of the room rate to earn a 5-star review. The hotel is basically in the City Palace, which makes it easy to visit the City Palace, but the downside is that the gate is always crowded and guards are constantly checking that you're a guest at the hotel. The Sunset Terrace (the hotel's restaurant and bar) has a truly wonderful view, but the decoration needs to be revamped and the wine is laughably overpriced.
This place is filled with so much peace . The atmosphere has its own fragrance far away from dust and smoke . The night sky is full of shinning stars which have a different story to tell each day . Sunrise from the palace was beautiful . The magnificent sun was ready with it's glorious rays to fill our day with positivity and happiness . The hospitality and the services is at it's top . The food is also warm and yummy .
Wonderful place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Location is just great. Near the Lake. I also enjoyed Light and Sound Show in the evening and visit to the Palace for Museum was a great experience.
The palace hotel has a grand appearance, room sizes are large and it has a serene environment. Room amenities are truly luxury. A perfect traditional theme is found here and i will definitely come back again.
