Each of the Udaipur Palaces has a very distinct identity and this one especially is prominent precisely due to its individuality. The three story structure includes several “mahals”, a beautiful courtyard and garden as well as a stunning main facade. The striking carvings in the shape of elephants give the palace a unique identity hand have been its most attractive facet for visitors. The garden is nicely maintained and well landscaped with several indeginous as well as foreign flowering plants.

The architecture is definitely worth the trip and since the Jag Mandir is on an island on Pichola Lake, it will also be a fun excursion to undertake. Do explore all parts of this castle as there are quite a few to enjoy. There is also a museum on the premises if you want to know more about the history of this magnificent place. • Island view. Expnesive place in between the water. Good for VIP marriage. Nice place for lake loving people. Lake view is most beautiful here, evening time is the best time for visiting this place. After 5 pm and before 7 pm. The sunset point is also good view.

  • A beautiful place. A small island in between the lake. A superb place for destination weddings.

  • Not worth to take boat ride to here. After 3Pm price is 800/- It s not at all worth for that money.Nothing much to see here. There is a sunset point, but u can see same from a normal boat also

  • Most beautiful palace in India. Best place for an Indian wedding in world

  • It is a good place and well maintained but my concern is about transportation management the boats aren't the best way the corporation should add another way or even if they can't they should upgrade the boat facatalies that is think is too poor ,other then this concern the place was good and my experiences too. I just request everyone to maintain cleanliness their . Most important thing to remember beware of taxi drivers they are Scammers if you are an outsider check Google maps first else take the help of a local man there.
