Shri ManshapurnaKarni Mata Temple is a famous temple in Uadipur, with great historical as well as spiritual importance. Built in the 1620s, the temple is perched on the top of a hill giving a spectacular view of endless beauty. The view of Lake Pichola, Lake Palace, the mighty Sajjangarh Fort, the DudhTalai Park and the picturesque city of Udaipur is exquisite. There are two ways of reaching the temple. You can either go on foot, or take the ropeway up the hill. The ropeway ride is a great experience with the dense forest on one side, and the lake and city on the other…the contrast is fascinating.

Once in the temple, it is very natural for your mind, body and soul to be in perfect bliss. The atmosphere despite the number of people is calming. It is believed that worshipping the Goddess in the morning and evening hours with devotion fulfills all your wishes and blesses you with a long life.
