Kal Bhairav Temple, Ujjain Reviews
The most interesting temple in Ujjain for me. The temple devoted to Bhairave, one of forms of Lord Shiva, who known as guardian deity of the city. The interesting part regarding to the temple, every day hundreds litres of liquors served to lips of deity which has slit there, but no one knows where liquors are going on, and nowhere is wet despite of huge amount of liquid. Local people told that a few times scientific researches were made, but nothing found.
This is a beautiful temple of lord Shiva. Best temple in Ujjain. Big parking space outside the temple (payable). I prefer you to visit here.
Good place. Amazing location. Local people will ask you to assist in parking.Dont listen to them. Parking space is available in front of the temple gate. It's amazing to see the pujaari offering liquor to the God .
Good place to visit. While entering, local guides will try to assist park your car and guide. Don't listen to them. Big parking available in front of temple. No fee for entry.
This place is a wonder! The god 'BHAIRAV' can apparently consume litres of liquor..! Where does it go, no one knows.. they say it is a mystery so much so that a team from Discovery channel could not unsolve.
