This historic mound in Lithuania lies near the convergence of the rivers Sepulcher and UkmergÄ—. The castle of VilkmergÄ— stood at this very point until the year 1390. The castle was burnt down and rebuilt during the years that followed, but was ultimately lost and currently, the place is a high mound. It is a popular tourist destination and attracts a lot of people, mostly for the panoramic view of the city that it offers from the top.
