If aviation is your thing, then you will be pleasantly surprised to see the city hall. The place showcases a replica of the flight instrument of Mr. Berblinger and is a popular tourist attraction in itself.

The clock outside the tower is an astrological clock- a rare marvel, known for carrying out many functions. Admire its rare beauty while you are here.

The building itself, built in the 14th century is known for its renaissance architecture and design- showcasing colorful paintings on its walls which give it an old-world charm. Take a walk here to experience yet another of Ulm’s historic stories.

  • Very nice. Old style .but original. Warm and good people . family business

  • Very nice rooms: modern and comfortable. Very pleasant and delicious breakfast. A little bit expensive.

  • A very clean functional hotel which is actually two hotels, the Am Rathaus and Rablas. The latter only comprises rooms set on two floors in an half timbered building across a lane form the Am Rathaus. Breakfast is served in the Am Rathaus as is the reception. The breakfast room his small so can run out of tables if breakfast is busy but the spread of food is excellent and very tempting. There are no hot dishes.

  • Charming hotel, nice breakfast, real friendly staff. Hallway of hotel is a bit outdated (needs some work). A bit weird to have a toilet with glass door next to the bed in a 4 person room.

  • Lovely personal touches in old fashioned hotel. Animal covers over boiled eggs with smiley faces, sweets at checkout and friendly family service. Excellent location for exploring old Ulm and the Danube. Room was small (bed up against wall) and decor was old fashioned and rather tired (frilly curtains and a cracked sink).
