This is one of the places which you must visit in the Salisbury which was built by the New Zealand army right after the World War I. It is a fantastic place which you can visit with your friends and is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will love the perfect grasslands, hills, and the beautiful lake here. The parking space is quite spacious, located beside quite a few small hotels. You will like the view of the kiwi carved in chalk on the Beacon Hill.

Beautiful from a distance and if you climb to the top of kiwi hill you get a beautiful view of the Salisbury plane. People from all over the world come to quickly steal a glance at the chalk kiwi but if your that kind of tourist than I would recommend Stonehenge over it.
It's unusual! A huge bird on the side of a hill that's hard to find and has an interesting back story.
Wow i got a picture of sling camp with the kiwi on the hill and seeing it today and not forgotten New Zealand soldiers in England and the war effort.many thanks from NZ and my Grandfather was in the camp before going to France in Ww1.many thanks for keeping the memory alive 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤👈👈 New Zealand
Cheeky wee hills for dog walking/running, nice little kiwi shaped mark in the ground at the top
