Moving 5 kilometers to the northeast direction from Urumqi, this beautiful eco tourism region includes nearly four hills and one beautiful river named Shuimogou River. The aim of this scenic spot is to protect the forest from getting exploited. The best part of this tourism area is the river that flows through Shuimogou sports and leisure area. History says, this region used to be a favorite scenic spot during the Qing dynasty and at present, it still manages to attract nearly hundreds of tourists during the summer season. Due to such high demand of this region, a park named Shuimogou Park has been developed within the region. The primary attraction of the region is the three hot springs named Shuimogou hot spring, Nanjing Tangshan hot spring and Xi’an Lintong Mt. Li. hot spring. It has been heard that the content of the water of these hot spring are medically effective and is able to cure health issues like arthritis and skin disease. In fact, you can drink the water as it is as pure as bottled mineral water.
