For skiers, Silk Road Ski Resort is the ultimate destination. Located slightly away from the city, this resort is considered as the biggest ski resort in the northwestern region of China. Take a bus from the Grand Bazaar for Urumqi and the bus will take you to this beautiful resort. The journey will hardly take around 40 minutes.
