  • Another day another temple / Pyramid? Nope. This one was spectacular. Not seen from The entry point it takes your breath away as it unfolds in front of you. Our guide was excellent at showcasing the ruins for us. This place is big so allow at least two hours to explore. Please pay attention to signs about not climbing ruins and you’ll see why in most cases. Iguanas abound and although there are slot of tourists, you can get a photo of the pyramids without people in it. This place is also quiet. Peacefully quiet. Enough time to reflect about the life and times of the original inhabitants. Mostly wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Few cafes on site. Drinks and refreshments available. Number of tourists shops too but quite expensive. There is a resort next door to stay in if you’d like to be closer (has a pool). The grounds are very clean and well groomed.

  • I loved it, it was beautiful. I will go again. Armando was a phenomenal guide. He was funny, and very knowledgeable. He took his time with each person. Thank y'all

  • Beautiful! Gorgeous site, amazing stories, lovely place to learn history of the area. We hired a guide which I highly recommend as there are no signs.

  • The night show needs an update. It is the exact same show I watched over 10 years ago when I first visited Uxmal. The style makes it a little bit difficult to follow the story. Still, the structures are beautiful and sharing the space with bats and other night creatures make it a fun experience!

  • Ancient ruins - amazing (go early to avoid the heat and crowds). Modern Mexican organization - disaster (you have to line up twice for two separate tickets). A case study of how Mexico was more advanced 1000 years ago than it is today
