Zoodyssee, Villiers-en-bois Reviews

  • To call this place a zoo is a stretch. The only thing zoo-like is the walking distances between the animals, apart from the fact that the animals here are not actually very exotic (no offense animals) or, very present, given that there were so many empty enclosures.. The ratio of walking to animals is probably about 8:1, so if you’re wanting to relax and feed the little animals popcorn and see Siberian tigers and polar bears, you’ll be thoroughly disappointed, just as I was. However, if you’re a fan of tortoises, farm animals and extensive cross country walks, this is the place for you. Wear comfortable shoes. Don’t make the same mistake I did. There are no shortcuts to get out.

  • Enjoyed our visit, however some animals remain unseen, probably due to their sleeping/social habits. Bring plenty of water if visiting on a hot day, and make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear for a long walk around the park!

  • Friendly staff very well priced and a bit different to your average zoo as have mainly European animals highly recommended!

  • A definite must visit, a great day for all the family.

  • Great little animal park
