How to Reach Vadodara
- By Air: The city of Vadodara is served by the Vadodara Airport, which is located at about 7.5 kilometers from the city center. With daily flight connections to cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Indore and Bangalore, one of the easiest ways to reach Vadodara is by taking a flight.
- By Rail: Vadodara is a part of the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway (BBCI) rail network and the city’s Vadodara Junction Railway Station is one of the busiest in the states with more than 350 trains passing through it every day. Apart from its main train station, Vadodara also has many smaller railway stations that connect the cities to a wide range of Indian cities.
- By Road: The National Highway 8 of India, which connects Delhi to Mumbai by road, runs through the city of Vadodara. The city is also connected with Ahmedabad through Indian National Expressway 1. If coming by bus, the STC Bus Station is the city’s major bus depot. This bus station is also very close to the Vadodara Railway Station.
