The Nature Education Park is located along the banks of river Mahi and is a loved spot for hikers and people looking for a recreational spot. The park is managed by Gujarat Nature Conservation Society and currently covers an area of 35 acres. The best part about the garden is that it provides not just an escape from the city life but also combines education and appreciation of nature.

The society arranges guided walks, summer camps and bird-watching hunts (you can find around 84 species of birds here) and has a planetarium, an observatory with a telescope, an Energy Park, a dam that has a ravine that is fun to explore and a man-made water body along with a fun splash pool and a library! It is amazing to see just how self-sufficient the park is. The entire area uses solar energy for its power needs, has a canteen where you can grab a quick bite and also has a meteorological observatory and a kids’ play area where you can spend some time with your tiny tots.
