Pavagadh Ropeway - Hill Top Station, Vadodara Reviews
Very good management and staff but I would advice not to use cable car on special Hindu days, on Sundays and other general holidays because the queue will be so long that you will get exhausted just by waiting itself. Apart from that there are facilities like a food Centre to grab a quick bite and drinking water.
Such a beautiful place 😍😍😍 And if you want to track then start walking from pavagarh bus stand and take the shortcut from right side of bus stand. And i bet You will never forget your that experience.....
Went on a festival. The ropeway queue was 2 hrs long. I walked down the hill despite I had a return trip for ropeway. Great experience through.
Yup, its Rs 116 for two ways, but after 8 am, the line is tremendously long taking 2 hours waiting. This line itself is 1 km long and you will need food while in line which is luckily available in the premixed sold by them. So shortcut becomes longcut in terms of time. Also after the ropeway, we have to take 15 min walk. But yes, flying through the mountains is a memorable experience. You will see a beautiful valley below your feets, the ride will take just 8 minutes to complete. If lucky enough then You will pass from clouds. I haven't heard of any accident during ride, so it's safe one. It's a nice place for photography too. while coming back from top, you will have to wait for about 10 minutes, and the same tickets will work as it's a two way pass. While coming to ground, you will feel that your membranes of ear are being pressed, because at that much hight, the pressure decrease by considerable amount and when you come back it will increase again, gulping your salaiva will help you. It was a tremendous ride by the way.
Excellent Service, Good Staff, Well Maintained...An uran khatola (Hindustani: उड़न खटोला, اُڑن کهٹولا) is a fictional flying vehicle in the traditional folktales of North India and Pakistan. The term literally means 'flying bedstead' or 'flying cot' but in folklore the term is used more expansively to cover any flying vehicle. In modern-day Indian and Pakistani slang, it can refer to any vehicle that flies (such as a helicopter or an airplane) or appears to glide through the air (such as a gondola lift)
