Jungle Hostel, Vagator Reviews
Just like its other three hostels in Goa, the jungle version by The Hostel Crowd is unique and exemplary. Great staff all round, from reception to housekeeping to maintenance. Filtered water is provided free of charge encouraging less plastic. Breakfast can be an interesting affair as it's a sort of free for all buffet, occasionally replenished. As is the case in all hostels the coffee is provided by Bombay Coffee Roasters and rarely fails to produce a delicious espresso.
The place and the people are amazing... The volunteers and the staff are very supportive and friendly... I felt like I was back in my hostel with friends, just that the place is a 100 times better... The common rooms are always active with match screenings , games or even talking and working out... The food is also really good..
Had a great stay at jungle. We stayed in 3 different rooms, the fan room was clean and adequate although there were regular power cuts which made it a bit stuffy. The private rooms was spacious and comfy and the aircon dorm was actually the best value for money. The facilities and common areas are awesome and the on-site cafe makes good coffee :) Emily and the crew went above in beyond in helping me organise a birthday party while we stayed there and got everyone involved.
This place is one of the best places to stay in Goa so far. I have been to Goa many times and in my recent visit I stayed here. It is quite a cozy place to stay. Its nearby Vagator beach and adjacent to The Mango Tree which is my favourite place to hangout. Their rooms are clean and their service is quite good. This hostel have plenty of space to have all the guests busy in their activities. There are people from all around the world. They also provide healthy breakfast. Which I like the most. Behind the kitchen you can spot peacocks and peahens if you are lucky. They also give you recommendations of places to visit and provide commutation to the parties around the place. You can also book vehicle from the place too. So book a room here and have awesome experience. Happy Travel 👋🏼👋🏼
Incredible lodging, atmosphere, location and staff - above and beyond any hostel I’ve stayed at in India. The combination of chilling and/or partying makes this the only place I will ever consider returning to! The hostel cafe serves up healthy treats, the volunteers are inclusive of everyone and organise fun activities like bonfire nights, sunset beers and drinking games, the tour desk helps with onward travel plans and tours, with the great amenities like an AC common room being an added bonus to an already stunning property. Keep up the good work guys!
