Fort St Elmo - Review
This weekend attraction is an interesting visit in Valetta. This fort was and still is used as an important military base. It is opened to the public only on Sundays which adds to the amazing pull it has on Malta tourists. One thing is for certain, it is an attraction worth waiting for the weekend for.
The Fort has a rich and long history as a strategic location like no other. It has been involved in several different battles and has been a vital point in the history of Malta which makes it an area worth exploring. The tours shows and exhibitions that are conducted are very informative and are highly recommended by tourists to Malta.

Fort St Elmo, Valletta Reviews
Definitely worth a visit. It was quite expansive and shared a lot of history. I didn't realize how violent Malta's past was and this visit helped me better understand its involvement and why they've needed to protect their island. It also helps explain even something like language development over time given previous rulers. Depending on when you go, make sure you bring water, sunglasses, and a hat - not a lot of shade.
A place to visit if you like history in Valletta. The upper part has been fully restored to its original features, which includes the National War Museum. A stunning place with wonderful views of the Valletta Grand Harbour.
Bit threw other due to renovation work. Not many people to guide you, you basically pay in and wander round yourself. Sinage could be better, still some cool pieces of 2WW memorabilia,
Well worth a visit! It's rich in history with some truly beautiful exhibits. Sizeable museum with wonderful views of the harbour.
Interesting museum laid out so you follow from BC to modern day. Some great exhibits. Recommend combining it with the Malta Experience, saves €6 and this us also extremely good.
